Why are liberals afraid of Governor Palin?

The election is over. The angry liberal candidate won. So why does the liberal left continue to go after Governor Palin? Detractors of Palin, Rep. and Dem. alike, like to blame Palin for McCain's election loss. They forget one thing. McCain lost because he was not REPUBLICAN enough. Palin was chosen because she is PRO-LIFE, PRO-GUN, PRO-DRILL, PR0-TAX CUTS. In a word, REPUBLICAN.

Get this 'factual' (snort...said with heavy sarcasm) report from Newsweek:
"Apparently, according to Newsweek, Gov. Palin refused to appear onstage with a New Hampshire Senator and a New Hampshire Senate candidate because they are pro-choice. (H/T).

Except that the Senator in question, John Sununu, is pro-life.And except that the other candidate wasn't running for the Senate (Newsweek may have missed this, but Sununu was up for re-election, so there were not two Republicans running for the job this year).

And except that she did do public appearances with both men.

And except that she did make public appearances with other pro-choicers.

But you know, other than getting basically every possible fact wrong, Newsweek's doing OK there.(redstate.com)

Michael Eisenstadt, supposed McCain aide, who has been 'leaking' negative info about Governor Palin an supposedly confessed on his own blog is a HOAX. The man is notorious for creating drama and 'hoax' blogs to create chaotic situations. This time he decided to bring Palin down (note: the LEFT HATES HER).

The slurs against Gov. Palin are ridiculous and not even worth going into on this blog. None of them made sense from the beginning and just so the how looney the left (and left leaning 'republican's) really are.

Media determined to bury Palin and her popularity

A Few Things You'd Have to Believe to Believe What McCain Staffers Say About Sarah Palin
Let's add some context to the Carl Cameron and Newsweek airing of rumors from anonymous McCain/Palin staffers. The most controversial claims, all of which come without names attached because the purveyors are apparently determined to stick around to undermine future campaigns and candidates, are that Palin didn't know that Africa was a continent as opposed to a country, and that she didn't know who the members of NAFTA were.
Let's start with NAFTA. If folks want to believe Gov. Sarah Palin did not know even the most basic facts about NAFTA, they have to believe a couple other improbable things.
Before she became governor, Palin's husband Todd's commercial fishing business on Bristol Bay accounted a decent percentage of the family's income. The couple reported about $46,000 from the business last year on a license Todd purchased from his grandfather in the 1970s. He has been a lifelong commercial fisherman and she has often been his partner both in the business and literally on the boat.
Surely while the two were working in the commercial salmon fishing industry in post-NAFTA Alaska, they would not have missed the effect farmed-salmon imports from Canada had on the industry, causing the number of fisherman, the size of the harvest, and the value of permits to go down significantly in Alaska. According to a 2003 AP article:
"This loss of equity, which for self-employed fishermen is equivalent to retirement accounts, will continue to reverberate throughout the Alaska economy in coming years," Gilbertsen said.
The economic losses have ricocheted through coastal communities as fewer fishermen have caused a decline in both crews and shore-based services. Monthly employment in the state's seafood processing industry fell from 11,200 in 1992 to 7,400 in 2002.
Chile and Canada are the two major suppliers to the U.S. market of farm-raised salmon. The two countries accounted for 94 percent of the Atlantic pen-reared salmon, valued at $818 million.
Canada is a partner in the North American Free Trade Agreement, which removed certain trade barriers, and Chile has fewer environmental regulations and cheap labor, the analysis showed.
"The fact that Canada is a NAFTA partner, and that the U.S. has just approved a bilateral free trade agreement with Chile, would seem to indicate that these imports will continue to grow," Gilbertsen said.
So, let's say for argument's sake the couple missed that bit of information. They would also have had to miss the fact that in 2002, the federal government decided to make commercial salmon fisherman on Alaska's Bristol Bay eligible for Trade Adjustment Assistance under the North American Free Trade Agreement due to the impact Canada's farmed-salmon had on the industry. From a 2002 AP brief:
The U.S. Department of Labor has certified about 200 commercial salmon fishermen in the Bristol Bay area as eligible to apply for transitional adjustment assistance under the North American Free Trade Agreement.
The certifications cover Sept. 5, 2001, to Nov. 25, 2004. Workers laid off or reduced to part-time work during that time may be eligible for extra benefits and services.
The Labor Department found that major customers for Bristol Bay salmon increased their reliance on imports of salmon from Canada, adversely affecting fishermen.
NAFTA authorizes assistance to cover workers affected because of increased imports from Mexico or Canada or shifts in production to those countries.
After they are certified as eligible, workers may apply for benefits at a state employment service office. They may receive retraining services, career counseling, job placement assistance and income support.
On the flip side of the coin, Canada is within the top three of Alaska's trading partners, a position it moved into in the increased trade years after NAFTA was passed. It's a huge market for seafood and metals mined in Alaska.
Disgruntled McCain staffers not only require you to believe that the chief executive of the state of Alaska knew nothing about one of her state's most important trading partners, but that she was equally oblivious to the economic winds affecting the industry that provided her very own livelihood. Perhaps they should head to the NYT next, which has a history of employing anyone who has a penchant for writing slam books about Republicans.
This accusation didn't pass the smell test to begin with, but because McCain staffers are requiring us to defend our popular former vice presidential nominee against NYT-like attacks, there are some facts to consider.

Freedom of speech is DEAD DEAD DEAD

It is appalling to consider the state of our country. The liberal media has lost its mind, not to mention any sense of dignity. Joe 'the plumber' did the unthinkable. He asked the almighty anointed Obama a legitimate question and now he is being vilified and dissected in the media. The offensive Daily Kos (a slimebag liberal rag) has gone as far as printing Joe's address, phone number, and other PERSONAL AND PRIVATE information on its website. Other rags, including the NYT, has stepped over the line and done the same.

When did Freedom of speech die in this country? The day the LEFT decided to anoint Obama for President. Every freedom we have in this country is being yanked from us in the blink of an eye. No one can disagree with the Anointed One. No one can print, speak, question the Anointed One without fear of reprisal.

This should scare anyone thinking that Obama will be for change of HOPE in this country. Change for sure, but not change you will want. All of our personal rights will be gone. What is being done to Joe the Plumber is a travesty.

We now know more about Joe the Plumber than we do about the Anointed One. Obama has REFUSED to submitt an authentic birth certificate. He has REFUSED to release ANY school records. We know only what he wants us to know and the answers change almost daily. Every bit of his past has been carefully orchestrated and every relationship has been reduced to a political soundbite. No truth....just carefully rehearsed rhetoric....

He blatantly LIED during the debate. Amazing since his lies are easily a matter of public record. The truth is that Obama does not know the truth. His preacher said it best. This politician will say and do anything to get elected. Even if that means tearing down the very people he professes to care about. Don't be fooled. Obama is in it for HIM. Your taxes WILL be raised to pay for those free abortions and welfare gifts to the those who filed to vote 73 times. Your income will be distributed to those who are the ultimate slaves....those on the dole. Free speech, free press, free market society is dead......I don't even think it will rest in peace. I know that I won't......

Hilary praises Palin!

Sen. Clinton had this to say about Gov. Palin's debate: "It's amazing, you know, she's been thrust into the national spotlight with very little preparation and I think that, all things considered, you saw a very composed and effective debater last night."

Governor Palin proved she could handle herself in a Presidential and competent manner tonight. As Michelle Malkin notes, "She was warm, fresh, funny, confident, energetic, personable, relentless, and on message. She roasted Obama’s flip-flops on the surge and tea-with-dictators declarations, dinged Biden’s bash-Bush rhetoric, challenged the blame-America defeatism of the Left, and exuded the sunny optimism that energized the base in the first place.

"Her performance underscored the underhandedness of the hatchet job editors at ABC News and CBS News, which failed to capture her solid competence on the whole array of foreign and domestic policy issues on the debate table tonight."

The pundits, liberals, and others will go crazy tomorrow with "Palin Derangement Syndrome", but that isn't anything new......

Article from American Thinker author Dunn: "Sarah Palin is the only one with any of the requisite executive experience required for office. She is the sole candidate who has ever run anything larger than a college debating society. If she is not qualified, none of them are, and we'd better dump 'em all and start over...........Only two senators have been elected president in this century: Warren G. Harding and John F. Kennedy. (Johnson, Bush, Sr., and Truman all served as VPs before entering the Oval Office.).......Americans like governors -- somebody with hands-on experience at running a state who can demonstrate that experience. McKinley, Wilson, Coolidge, FDR, Reagan, Clinton, and George W. were all successful governors before becoming president. ........The differences between running a town, a state, and a country are matters of degree, not of essence. The same skills and abilities are required in each case........no foreign policy experience????......except for the easily demonstrated fact that Governor Palin, on August 27th of this year, completed a pipeline agreement with Canada, which is a foreign country. The agreement had been stymied for over two decades by various interests in Alaskan state government. Palin got it wrapped up in that busy eighteen months.

Liberals ignore plight of muslim women while bashing Palin

http://www.gatewaypundit.com/: "Liberal Media Rips Palin-- Defends Violence Against Iranian Women
Iran arrested up to 150,000 women last year for breaking the strict dress code. This doesn't appear to bother the staff at the St. Petersburg Times. It's a sad day in America when propaganda writing fascists will deny the reality of daily life in Iran because of their hate for Sarah Palin.

Alaska Governor Sarah Palin released a speech she was planning on giving in New York last week at an anti-Ahmadinejad rally before Democrats forced Jewish groups to disinvite the Republican vice presidential candidate:
"It is said that the measure of a country is the treatment of its most vulnerable citizens. By that standard, the Iranian government is both oppressive and barbaric. Under President Ahmadinejad's rule, Iranian women are some of the most vulnerable citizens. If an Iranian woman shows too much hair in public, she risks being beaten or killed."

St. Petersburg Times dislikes Palin so much they wrote this: "Modesty has been a component of Islam since the Prophet Mohammed revealed purported advice on the subject from God in the seventh century. It has been interpreted differently among and within Muslim cultures around the world, including Iran. In 1936, Iran's largely secular ruler Reza Shah Pahlavi, intent on modernizing the country, banned the practice of wearing the veil, known in the Muslim world as hejab. That law was rescinded after Pahlavi was forced to relinquish power in 1941, but the policy of discouraging and disparaging hejab remained, said Ziba Mir-Hosseini, an Iranian anthropologist and a visiting professor at the New York University School of Law."

Liberals ONLY defend women when it is politically expedient for them to do so.

MO Governor issue statement against Obama scare tactics SCORE!

Gov. Blunt Statement on Obama Campaign’s Abusive Use of Missouri Law Enforcement
JEFFERSON CITY - Gov. Matt Blunt today issued the following statement on news reports that have exposed plans by U.S. Senator Barack Obama to use Missouri law enforcement to threaten and intimidate his critics.
“St. Louis County Circuit Attorney Bob McCulloch, St. Louis City Circuit Attorney Jennifer Joyce, Jefferson County Sheriff Glenn Boyer, and Obama and the leader of his Missouri campaign Senator Claire McCaskill have attached the stench of police state tactics to the Obama-Biden campaign.
“What Senator Obama and his helpers are doing is scandalous beyond words, the party that claims to be the party of Thomas Jefferson is abusing the justice system and offices of public trust to silence political criticism with threats of prosecution and criminal punishment.
“This abuse of the law for intimidation insults the most sacred principles and ideals of Jefferson. I can think of nothing more offensive to Jefferson’s thinking than using the power of the state to deprive Americans of their civil rights. The only conceivable purpose of Messrs. McCulloch, Obama and the others is to frighten people away from expressing themselves, to chill free and open debate, to suppress support and donations to conservative organizations targeted by this anti-civil rights, to strangle criticism of Mr. Obama, to suppress ads about his support of higher taxes, and to choke out criticism on television, radio, the Internet, blogs, e-mail and daily conversation about the election.
“Barack Obama needs to grow up. Leftist blogs and others in the press constantly say false things about me and my family. Usually, we ignore false and scurrilous accusations because the purveyors have no credibility. When necessary, we refute them. Enlisting Missouri law enforcement to intimidate people and kill free debate is reminiscent of the Sedition Acts - not a free society.”

MORE: "More Obama gangland tactics: Signs banned at Virginia rally today"

"NOT ALL COUNTRIES guarantee their citizens the right to virtually unbridled freedom of speech. The United States does. Would someone please tell the campaign of Sen. Barack Obama? And the dozing guardians of liberty at the University of Mary Washington?" (Fredericksburg Free-lance Star)

Add this to the threatening letters his lawyers sent to station managers over the NRA ads, the flash-mob smearing of David Freddoso, and the appeal to the Justice Department to prosecute the American Issues Project for its perfectly factual yet devastating Ayers ad.

Obama 'denies' truth squad, but "…why did Obama campaign create truth squad primarily (exclusively?) made up of prosecutors and law enforcement?
…why did the Obama campaign emphasize and publicize the fact their truth squad included prosecutors and law enforcement from across the state?
…why were the Obama truth squad members emphasizing their official capacity as prosecutors and law enforcement instead of countering alleged mis-statements or promoting the candidate?
Even if Mills didn’t mention targeting people on ethics rules, doesn’t a truth squad of prosecutors and law enforcement imply the threat of criminal prosecution and prosecutorial harassment?
Mills and the Obama Truth Squad sent the message they wanted to send, “speak out and we’ll come after you” - they’re just regretting it wasn’t subtle enough."

Obama no paper trail......why.....

Obama and the missing paper trail .. www.redbourn.blogspot.com
Would Barack Obama be likely to fulfill his campaign promises of hope and change if he were elected President?
Judged by his previous achievements the answer would have to be a resounding ‘no’.
When faced with past failures he has always tried to obscure them, and if or when that was not possible he has blamed others.
The many "successes" that he has claimed in campaign speeches were often due to the work of others but he always took but never gave credit for them.
He has steadfastly refused to answer questions relating to his days at Harvard and such omissions are a continually recurring and worrying theme. He was appointed ‘President of the Law Review’ which is something that should not be minimalized but whilst holding the post he published none of his own work and once again there is no paper trail and this pattern predates his time at Harvard.
He majored in political science at Columbia University but when asked for his senior thesis he claimed to have lost it. Its subject was the Kennedy-Khrushchev conference and the diplomatic history between America and the Soviets and it later came to light that he was wrong about all its crucial elements.
So how are we to judge him when there are no written records, no signed legal papers, no research papers that were authored or co-authored by him?A search of the ‘HeinOnline’ database of law journals turns up nothing that can be credited to Obama in any law review anywhere or at any time. In spite of an apparent eleven-year teaching career in constitutional law at a top law school there is not one single article, published talk, book review, or comment of any kind that bears the name ‘Barack Obama’.
He misjudged the constitutionality of Washington D.C.'s gun control law which is somewhat surprising given his legal background. He believed the law to be constitutional and supported it but The Supreme Court disagreed and threw out the ban. Obama then sought to distance himself from his earlier opinion and blamed an "unnamed aide" for stating that he believed that DC ban was constitutional.
Obama misinterpreted the "Born Alive" bill that came before the Illinois State Senate when he served there. The legislation was intended to address the issue of babies who were born during abortion procedures. The legislation was clear and afforded babies that were born during an abortion the protection of the law and stated that they should be treated like any other baby that was born alive and prematurely. Obama spoke out against the bill saying it would not pass "constitutional muster" but three years later, in his book ‘The Audacity of Hope’, he wrote that it would have overturned Roe v. Wade. That he was so completely wrong is more than a little disappointing for a man who prides himself on being a constitutional expert.
He told the Teamsters union that he would end the federal oversight of the union in exchange for their electoral support which is an unusual commitment to have made given that union anti-corruption efforts have until now always been treated as a legal matter and left to the Justice Department. Was Barack Obama willing to lift this monitoring which is intended to prevent crime in order to gain votes?
When it comes to the selection of Supreme Court nominees Obama disagreed with fellow Democrats over the selection of Justices Roberts and Alito and voted against their confirmation in spite of their excellent legal credentials. He would apparently use an entirely different yardstick to the tried and tested one and stated, “We need somebody who's got the heart, the empathy, to recognize what it's like to be a young teenage mom. The empathy to understand what it's like to be poor, or African-American, or gay, or disabled, or old. And that's the criteria by which I'm going to be selecting my judges”.“
Can or should we be asked to follow a person that leaves no trail?

NY Times prints complete Palin LIE while Obama sues if his name is pronounced wrong

Today's NY Times Palin Smear Piece... Based On COMPLETE LIE
On its editorial page today The New York Times published a complete lie about Governor Sarah Palin from Alaska:"Wasilla Watch: Sarah Palin and the Rape Kits"

This is completely false.** There is not one single record of the Wasilla police department charging any rape victim for an examination. Not one.
The Finance Department searched all financial records on our system for fiscal year 2000, 2001 and 2002. There are no records of billings to or collections from rape victims or their insurance companies in our system. The financial computer system goes back to the beginning of fiscal year 2000, and accounts receivable backup documentation goes back six (6) years per our records retention schedule.A review of files and case reports within the Wasilla Police Department has found no record of sexual assault victims being billed for forensic exams. State law AS 18.68.040, which was effective August 12, 2000, would have prohibited any such billings after that date.

****liberals...please explain to me why YOUR campaign is based upon entire LIES and YOUR candidate sues others for anything negative? change? hope? Pathetic!

Brit HUME---there was NO DEAL before McCain got there

There was NO DEAL....Republicans were/are NOT on board. When Dems heard McCain was coming they said, "don't come we have a deal"....included money to ACORN, like we want THAT deal...and Reps said NO WAY...so McCain came. Dems got ticked and tried to blindside McCain's efforts IN ADVANCE....Dems are playing politics and media bought it.... surprised???? NO to Reids sneaking in the OIL Shale BAN...shame on him.....No to bail out unless they really fix it......free market......not socialized government

More from Ed Morrissey: "Pelosi and Reid don't NEED GOP to pass bill.So why not just call a vote? Pelosi doesn’t want to get married to George Bush, that’s why. She wants to spread the political risk and get consensus on a bailout plan so that the responsibility for any failure doesn’t rest solely on her shoulders, at least in the House. Both Pelosi and Harry Reid wanted John McCain to deliver both GOP caucuses to cover their own butts on the bailout bill, and McCain — at least thus far — hasn’t convinced Boehner to do so."

Palin/Couric

Palin is being ripped in the liberal press (what is new?) and I really am not worried and you shouldn't be either....besides we have Bill Clinton on our side with the "cracker vote" in Florida!

Hmmm, not always great responses, certainly nervous but I didn't hear her talking about the 57 states, the Beretta Rifle, FDR going on TV to calm the masses in 1929, etc. I didn't hear her lying about McCain and middle class tax cuts, didn't hear her advocating for ACORN, didn't hear her claiming to merely be a neighbor of Ayers, didn't hear 20 years with Rev. Wright and never hearing anti-white/anti-semitism, didn't hear her refuse to give college records or actual birth certificate or other documentation still being refused, didn't hear anything about life being above his paygrade, didn't hear how she was falsely shot down in Afghanistan, didn't hear paying taxes is more patriotic, etc.

Did someone hear Palin say something that's outright wrong or a lie?

What the media didn't want you to know......

"I guess the media forgot to report that the largest re-enlistment ceremony in military history was held on July 4, 2008 at the Al Faw Palace in Baghdad (via Israpundit---go to see the larger picture).General David Petraeus officiated. This amazing story was ignored by the ‘mainstream’ media. American men and women volunteering to stay longer in Iraq, so that when we leave, the new democracy will have a chance of surviving, is the exact opposite of what the media wants you to think about Iraq."
2000 pizzas were donated and shipped to the event.

NEW YORK POST LIES---business as usual

"Horrible!... Latest NY Times McCain Hit Piece Is Entirely False
The only thing accurate in the latest New York Times hit piece on the McCain-Palin Camp is the name of McCain's campaign manager- Rick Davis. At least they got his name right. The McCain-Palin Camp responded to the latest smear:
Today the New York Times launched its latest attack on this campaign in its capacity as an Obama advocacy organization. Let us be clear about what this story alleges: The New York Times charges that McCain-Palin 2008 campaign manager Rick Davis was paid by Freddie Mac until last month, contrary to previous reporting, as well as statements by this campaign and by Mr. Davis himself. In fact, the allegation is demonstrably false. As has been previously reported, Mr. Davis separated from his consulting firm, Davis Manafort, in 2006. As has been previously reported, Mr. Davis has seen no income from Davis Manafort since 2006. Zero. Mr. Davis has received no salary or compensation since 2006. Mr. Davis has received no profit or partner distributions from that firm on any basis -- weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly, semi-annual or annual -- since 2006. Again, zero. Neither has Mr. Davis received any equity in the firm based on profits derived since his financial separation from Davis Manafort in 2006. Further, and missing from the Times' reporting, Mr. Davis has never -- never -- been a lobbyist for either Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac. Mr. Davis has not served as a registered lobbyist since 2005. Not just that... But, the facts in the report are a matter of public record.Look for the Old Gray Lady to make a correction 2 months from now on a Saturday."(gatewaypundit.com)

John McCain attempted to pass legislation to reform mortgage giants Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac back in 2005 but was blocked by Dems.
President Bush publicly called for GSE reform 17 times in 2008 alone and the Democratic Congress ignored him.

AP fans the flames of RACISM ----- AGAIN!

The liberal media just can't leave it alone. It MUST fan the flames of racism and GUILT voters into voting for an inexperienced, marxist, deceitful, and BLACK candidate. They, the media, keep reminding us of this 'black' fact in case we didn't notice....

"WASHINGTON (AP) — Deep-seated racial misgivings could cost Barack Obama the White House if the election is close, according to an AP-Yahoo News poll that found one-third of white Democrats harbor negative views toward blacks - many calling them “lazy,” “violent” or responsible for their own troubles."

Terry Trippany media watch notes the blatant effort to divide racially:
The problem with the AP, besides being a collection of communist loving anti-American maggots, is that they have a near of monopoly on their market. You can’t protest them or refuse to buy their crap because they stink it up everywhere through syndication.
At least the AP put the blame in the Democrats own back yard:
Lots of Republicans harbor prejudices, too, but the survey found they weren’t voting against Obama because of his race. Most Republicans wouldn’t vote for any Democrat for president - white, black or brown.
This article is a repetitive theme and it is intentional. The Democratic Party didn’t have a candidate that could run on his record or accomplishments so they turned to the next best thing; an inexperienced junior Senator that held the most important quality they figured they could use to polarize the electorate, his skin color.
Sorry, not working. Democrats should look hard at those who pretend to be their allies. Don’t tow the line and you are a racist; a bucnh of small minded hicks that only vote on skin color alone.
To say that the article is insulting is an understatement. But that sums up the AP quite easily; insulting to our intelligence.

Right to Privacy NOT a Republican RIGHT

Gov. Sarah Palin's personal email was hacked. More disturbing is the AP--Associated Press--connection in the hacking. The FBI requested information from the AP and the AP REFUSED to give it.

"By refusing to cooperate with the federal investigation into the hacking crime and publicizing the Palins’ other personal Yahoo e-mail account information, the AP openly invited hackers to break into those family accounts as well and endorsed illicit activity to raid private family photos.
The issues are inextricably linked, to borrow a phrase, and raise questions about the propriety of AP’s continued flacking for Barack Obama under the guise of objective journalism." (Michelle Malkin)
It is ironic that the right to privacy is being overlooked in the instance when the LEFT is all about the right to privacy. They are against the wire tapping of terrorists and it is the cornerstone of the argument for Roe vs. Wade--the right to privacy except when it is a Republican VP candidate...and then.....their views are opened to the public. Being a Republican is WORSE than being a terrorist.

Hackergate --Hacker said, 'nothing incriminating as I had hoped'

http://www.gatewaypundit.com/--- The AP refuses to give information on the hacking of Palin's private emails. Gawker posted all friends and family phone numbers as well as emails.

"Palin hackers traced to Obama's hometown of Chicago."

From " Michelle Malkin also has the details behind this story. It is a must read.

This was written by the hacker at the website that originally posted the information:

I read though the emails... ALL OF THEM... before I posted, and what I concluded was anticlimactic, there was nothing there, nothing incriminating, nothing that would derail her campaign as I had hoped, all I saw was personal stuff, some clerical stuff from when she was governor... And pictures of her family. The source said "rubico10@yahoo.com." was the hacker(?)

Condescending to the masses......

from gaypatriot...."In the same video where Barack Obama agrees that age-appropriate kindgergarten sex education is the “right thing to do,” he makes fun of those who choose to get their news from sources he doesn’t like:

Obama : "As I travel around the country, the American people are a decent people. And they get confused sometimes. And they listen to the wrong talk radio shows and watch the wrong TV networks, um, but they’re, they’re basically decent, they’re basically sound."

From http://www.gaypatriot.net/: "I initially put this update on this post, but realized it also belongs here. No wonder Clinton fundraiser Democratic National Committee Platform Committee member “Lynn Forester de Rothschild has said she thinks Democratic nominee Barack Obama is arrogant and has a problem connecting with average Americans.” After “bringing in more than $100,000 for” Hillary, Ms. de Rothschild is backing John McCain."

Obama campaign edits live interview AGAIN--

Another example of the Obama Campaign editing live TV interviews of reputable people and making them into commercials that fit their agenda. LIES LIES LIES
This one is Carly Fiorina from the McCain campaign. She ACTUALLY said NONE of the candidates are qualified to lead a major corporation and then said that is not what this campaign is about. But Obama only used the part about McCain and edited out the Obama and Biden can't lead a corporation either.........LIES LIES LIES the staple of the OBAMA CAMPAIGN

Obama admits he has made the most negative ads!

Getting accurate and unbiased information is difficult in this LEFTIST media biased age. We have been spoon fed and force fed unresearched and undocumented information against McCain and Palin as fact when the truth is that many media sources are going to leftist blogs for their 'facts'. All at a time when leftist leaning pseudo-intellectual liberals will tell you that it is the right that is twisting things.

So we have a candidate questioned on the negative ads from both campaigns and this is what Messiah Obama said:
" If we're going to ask questions about, you know, who has been promulgating negative ads that are completely unrelated to the issues at hand, I think I win that contest pretty handily."

There we have it. Straight from the mouth of Obama in the greatest Freudian Slip of our time. HE WON the race for negative ads about unrelated issues. Yes, Obama YOU WON.

Gibson's Media Bias and Interview differences with Obama/Palin

First from The Anchoress:

Obama interview:How does it feel to break a glass ceiling? How does it feel to “win”?How does your family feel about your “winning” breaking a glass ceiling?Who will be your VP?Should you choose Hillary Clinton as VP?Will you accept public finance? What issues is your campaign about? Will you visit Iraq? Will you debate McCain at a town hall? What did you think of your competitor’s [Clinton] speech?

Palin interview:Do you have enough qualifications for the job you’re seeking? Specifically have you visited foreign countries and met foreign leaders?Aren’t you conceited to be seeking this high level job?Questions about foreign policy-territorial integrity of Georgia-allowing Georgia and Ukraine to be members of NATO-NATO treaty-Iranian nuclear threat-what to do if Israel attacks Iran-Al Qaeda motivations-the Bush Doctrine-attacking terrorists harbored by PakistanIs America fighting a holy war? [misquoted Palin]

Questions Gibson asked Edwards in 2004 (less experience than Palin): (from Newsbusters)
GIBSON: You speak with such equanimity this morning. Didn’t they make you mad last night?
Edwards: (long useless answer)
Gibson: But were you mad?

Liberal icon, and former San Francisco Mayor, Willie Brown:
Heck, even I didn’t know what the Bush Doctrine was when Charlie Gibson asked her about it the other night on her first national TV interview.
-- PoliPundit

We believe tough questions should be asked of ANY candidate, but why isn't Obama being asked about Ayers, Wright, his lack of experience, his comments about making him an instrument of G-d (that old religion question again...), etc. Fair is Fair and Gibson is not Fair or balanced.
