Obama a Brand
From Dr. Lynette Long, democrat and former Clinton supporter: "Obama is a brand just like any other brand. Obama the Brand has a logo, a tag line, t-shirts, and a song. But Obama the man is not the same as Obama the Brand. Obama the Brand talks about new style politics, while Obama the man used Chicago style politics in every one of his elections. Obama the brand is for women’s rights while Obama the man marginalizes women and his supporters wear Sarah Palin is a cunt t-shirts. Obama the brand is pro-Israel, Obama the man is not. Obama the brand touts leadership while Obama the man voted present 130 times in the US Senate. Obama the Brand claims change, while Obama the man picks a Washington insider as his running mate. Obama the Brand loves America, but many of Obama the man’s associates hate America. Obama the Brand is a post-racial candidate while Obama the man plays the race card at every turn, listened for 20 years to the racial teachings of Rev. Wright, and makes contributions exclusively to Trinity United Church of Christ, the NAACP and Care Africa. Obama the man and Obama the Brand are not one in the same. Sweet 16
Sweet sixteen and never been kissed.
Remember this number.
Only 16% of the members of the Senate are women.
Only 16% of the members of the House of Representatives are women.
Only 16% of the Governors are women.
Only 16% of equity law partners are women.
Only 16% of the science professors at MIT are women.
Isn't it time for real change.
It's time for more women to be in government.

Another feminist leaves the Democratic Party
From No Quarter: Dr. Lynette Long shares why she is voting McCain/Palin...finally a diehard feminist that GETS IT....the Democratic Party is NOT for women....."The Democratic Party is not our ally. The Democratic Party is 60% women but it has only once selected a woman as a vice-presidential candidate and that was nearly a quarter of a century ago. We are chattel in our own party. The head of the Democratic National Committee has never been a woman. Money donated to the Women’s Leadership Fund is funneled into the Obama Victory Fund. We cannot give dominion over our bodies or ourselves to one party. Current feminist groups have no teeth because they are part and parcel of the Democratic Party. They are held hostage by Roe v. Wade. They know it and the Democratic Party knows it. The only way to regain our power is to regain our vote. The Democratic Party has no reason to earn our vote. We’ve sacrificed one choice for another.
I will by not be held hostage by the Democratic Party that turned a blind eye to the corruption in the Democratic primaries and Democratic caucuses.
I will not be held hostage by the Democratic Party that ignored a woman who got 18 million votes.
I will not be held hostage by the Democratic Party a party that was deaf, dumb and blind to the persistent and pervasive sexist attacks against Hillary Clinton.
I will not be held hostage by a Democratic Party that has never had a female head of the DNC.
I will not be threatened into submission. I will not cast my vote based on fear.
The Democratic Party cannot be rewarded for its pervasive disrespect of women. Sometimes you have to break a few eggs to make an omelet. Sometimes you have to tear down a house before you can rebuild it. Most feminists think the Democratic Party will treat them differently during the next election. There is no next time. There is only this time. Reinforcing abuse only perpetuates abuse. In any abusive relationship, you have to leave to get respect. Abusers are often charming and apologetic and hold out the hope of better behavior. But there is no then, there is only now.
I am a woman and I am a feminist. To the other feminists out there I ask, “Where is your pride or are you a victim of your own misogyny?”
I am a woman and right now I am ashamed to say, I am a feminist.

The women who fear Sarah Palin
Liberal feminists are screaming in the streets and pulling their hair out. How did Palin do it? Why her? Who will actually vote for HER?
The truth is they are scared. In their angry left, pseudo-intellectual diatribes we can almost hear their teeth nashing and many of them have become crazed enough to make their tantrums public...According to Obama supporter and feminist Camille Paglia: "Palin represents "an explosion of a brand new style of muscular American feminism. At her startling debut on that day [of her selection by McCain], she was combining male and female qualities in ways that I have never seen before. And she was somehow able to seem simultaneously reassuringly traditional and gung-ho futurist. In terms of redefining the persona for female authority and leadership, Palin has made the biggest step forward in feminism since Madonna channeled the dominatrix persona of high-glam Marlene Dietrich and rammed pro-sex, pro-beauty feminism down the throats of the prissy, victim-mongering, philistine feminist establishment."
What they won't admit is that they fear her. She has committed the ultimate liberal feminist sin. She believes in G-d and lives her values. She believes in G-d, she prays and she doesn't abort her children AND she will stand by her daughter---who will not abort her grand-child. The truth?
Liberalism is their religion and they worship at the altar of their ego. In one night, this one woman came along and changed the face of feminism FOREVER.
No, angry liberal women will NOT be voting for Palin. Women who don't check their facts and seek their information from sources like Charlie Gibson did will probably not vote for McCain. But there are real, intelligent, educated women who will be voting for McCain and Palin because their maverick approach is REAL and DOCUMENTED. Together they bring a wealth of experience and a value system that scares the HECK out of liberals. As Jeffrey London says, "The guy they fear isn't even on the ticket."

JOY BEHAR sets women back 100 years or more
View co-host Joy Behar recently stated that Sarah Palin's VP nomination set back WOMEN and the women's movement for YEARS. She also noted Palin is 'mean' because she hunts.
Question? How does having the FIRST WOMAN REPUBLICAN VP CANDIDATE set women BACK??? This is a major step forward for women.
The problem is that femnazis believe her to be the WRONG woman. If she was a prochoice, atheist, feminist then that would be ok......choice does seem to be their particular issue and yet.......this is really a NON-ISSUE. Roe vs Wade is not going anywhere. It is law. So then what is the problem? Governor Palin chooses LIFE and lived that principle and chose life for her Down's Syndrome son. As a woman....she made a CHOICE. Isn't that her LEGAL right?
She is, and I quote from Behar...."you know, the one thing that I don't think anybody has said yet is that she's very mean to animals, this woman." Booo flippin hoooo! It is apparent that Behar is not just pro-choice. She is pro-abortion. It is 'mean' to kill a polar bear, but not mean to kill a child? Hmmmmm........
Therefore, Behar and others like her (Steinem) view Sarah Palin with the blinders of their pedogogical ideology of extreme liberal/fascist ideology. Sarah Palin: strong, independent, prolife, christian, gun owning, hunting, political whistle blowing, popular, executive WITH experience, wife and mother is, according to Behar and her 'kind', Sarah is just the 'wrong' woman.
Now THAT kind of warped, twisted, woman bashing attitude is the real thing that will set back women for years. Shame on you Joy Behar.
