US troops won't be used to stop illegal immigration: US
WoW!! This is sooo reassuring...NOT. The troops (1 per 1000 square miles by the way) were sent as a smoke and mirrors peace offering......The Mexican President called B.O. and now the troops will only be doing the equivalent of 'desk jobs' because we don't want to OFFEND the mexican government???? Are you kidding me???
Arizona and Texas are pleading for help along our vast and dangerous border and the troops weren't even enough to do anything in the first place, but for OUR President to backdown because of the Mexican President's request is ludicrous and insulting to the American People!
By the way, please note that our President told Texas to 'be on the lookout' for Somalia Terrorists that will be coming across the border!!! WHAT???? Be afraid....Be VERY afraid.

Investigators find possible link with terrorism and financial crisis (not gov site, but investigators)
28 September 2008: Thanks to Right Side News for pulling together information relating to Wall Street oddities. An article written by investigative reporter Michael Webster under the title "Financial Terrorism on Wall Street?" adds additional dimension to our article (below). Excerpted:
U.S. government law enforcement agencies including the SEC, FBI and DOJ are on alert and are believed investigating terror and other related short selling illegal manipulation of the market place.It was reported that between August 26 and September 11, 2001, groups of speculators, including Middle Eastern country investors, some reported connected to terrorist such as Al Qaeda and the Ben Laden family, these groups were believed connected to predicting the demise of certain airline and buildings including the New York Trade Center. Still others were identified by the American Securities and Exchange Commission as Israeli citizens, who sold "short" a list of 38 stocks that could reasonably be expected to fall in value as a result of the pending 911 attacks. According to the reports these speculators operated out of the Toronto, Canada and Frankfurt, Germany, stock exchanges and their profits were specifically stated to be huge.
Apparently none of the suspicious transactions could be traced to Bin Laden because this news item quietly dropped from sight, leaving many people wondering if it tracked back to American firms or intelligence agencies
The feds have seen a possible similar trend operating on Wall Street recently and no end to the panic selling on Wall Street without government intervention. U.S. corporate regulator, the SEC, is seeking to ease the terror by implementing emergency rules relating to short selling.
Then there is another coincidence: The huge increase in shorting of the financials occurred on the anniversary of 9/11. And on top of that, the same institutions attacked on 9/11/01 were many of the ones suffering in recent days.
There was unusually heavy trading in airline and insurance stocks several days before September 11, 2001, which essentially bet on a drop in the worth of the stocks. The same is suspected being done on some recent failures and weakness like Lehman Brothers Holdings, Inc., Bear Stearns and others.

Terror Attack Directives Appear On Internet - May Signal Pending Strike

Just posting and not sure if true...but it appears no one is..........In depth report from Homeland Security US on an Internet post containing detailed instructions that may signal a pending terror attack......
post was initially published on August 2, 2008 under the title “Commandments [Directives] Before the Strike,” and appears to be a sort of a conflict management guide, or instructions on what Muslims should do prior to the attack, actions that should be undertaken concurrent with the attack, and well as additional instructions following the attack.
the timing appears to focus on the Tuesday following the end of Ramadan, which would be October 7, 2008. The nature of the attack is less clear.
greater in magnitude than the 9/11 attacks and makes reference to the possibility of it being nuclear in nature,...New York, as the financial capital of the U.S., and Washington, DC, as the nation’s capital, as being both desirable and affected.
ALERT: Instructions for actions Muslims are to take before, during & after an attack in the U.S. posted;
- Message suggests activation of worldwide jihad following U.S. attack;
- Message indicates large-scale attack within the U.S., perhaps early October
What makes this post particularly interesting is the limited number of replies to date – a total of three- despite the length of time it has been posted. Further, the replies in this case are general blessings, such as “May Allah Bless You” and general wishes of support for the operation. Based on extensive research of historical posting patterns over the last seven years suggest that this posting could be classified, recognized and acted upon as an order, as opposed to being a point for further discussion.
Perhaps the most disconcerting aspect of this posting might not be the message itself, but the message when viewed through the prism of historical patterns exhibited subsequent to the 2001 terrorist attacks. While the contents of the message are revealing, they become even more relevant when analyzed in tandem with the threat of worldwide jihad in advance of the bombings in Yemen and Pakistan.

Factsheet: Remembering 9/11
No American can let this day, 09/11/2008, go unnoticed for the events of 2001. The world stopped that day. I still can't think of that day without wanting to cry and the images are as real today as they were 7 years ago. When all is said and done.....We MUST BE UNITED. We must never let days such as 9/11 or events such as the Holocaust be forgotten. We must remember that to have true FREEDOM we must be willing to fight for freedom, we must defend freedom, and we must NEVER LET PEOPLE FORGET. That is the message of FACING HISTORY AND OURSELVES a school curriculum designed around the Holocaust and the fact that if we do not face our history, if we do not teach true history, if we do not fight intolerance, if we allow fascism to exist then WE create the situation where history, i.e., the Holocaust can be repeated.
Just think about how quickly we have forgotten the facts of that day (not Michael Moore's propaganda either). We have now come to believe that what is good is bad and what is bad is good..........
FACTS 7 years later (from White House Government website):
50 million people have been liberated, and two totalitarian regimes have been removed;
The al Qaeda network has been weakened;
We have not experienced another attack on American soil;
Our military has been transformed to meet the challenges of the 21st century;
We have expanded our intelligence capabilities to confront today's enemy; and
We have created new and essential institutions needed to wage the War on Terror, including the Department of Homeland Security and Office of the Director of National Intelligence.
Remember...other countries have had devastating terrorist attacks since 9/11. We have NOT. The behind the scenes work is keeping us safe.....yet, statistically, it is not a matter of IF, but WHEN will the next homeland attack be.........DO NOT LET THESE PEOPLE DIE IN VAIN. DO NOT FORGET. Fly your flag today!!!!!
